For official international use, it should be on stamp paper, signed, and attested.

  • Guardian’s CNIC or presence (in some cases)
  • Proof of residence (if needed by local office)

Unmarried Certificate to Consider in Pakistan

You can authorize someone in Pakistan via Power of Attorney (PoA) to apply on your behalf. Or apply through the Pakistani embassy/consulate with supporting documents.

Attestation Required for Foreign Use

To use it abroad, you must follow this process:

  • Notarization – From a Notary Public or Oath Commissioner
  • MOFA Attestation – From Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pakistan
  • Embassy Attestation – From the embassy of the country where it will be used (if required)

  • Translate the certificate into English or the required language using a certified translator.
  • Some embassies require both original and translated versions to be attested.
